KJP Award for Best Case Report (PGs) - 2017
Every year, KJP will give an award for the best case report published in the Journal in that IPS year by a postgraduate student. Those pursuing DPM, or MD or DNB in Psychiatry in an institution in Kerala can contest for this award. Case reports published in our December 2016 and January – June 2017 issues will be eligible to be considered for next year’s award. Interested students should submit their manuscripts, prepared in accordance with our submission guidelines for case reports, at www.kjponline.com before 28th February 2017. The manuscript should not list any other PG student as a coauthor.
The award will include of two mementos (one for the department) and a certificate. The winner will be decided by a Judging Committee appointed by the Editor of KJP in consultation with the Executive Committee of IPS Kerala. The Committee will judge the original submissions, and not the versions rewritten after peer review. The Committee can request the contestants to submit the copies of original medical records, investigation reports, etc. if it feels so. Decision of the Judging Committee shall be final.
UPDATE ON 22nd JANUARY 2017: As per the decision taken today by Executive Committee of Kerala IPS, the award will be given only if there are at least three contestants.
