2016-06-30

Every year, KJP will give an award for the best postgraduate thesis submitted in Kerala in the previous three years. Theses submitted in the academic years 2013-14, 2014-15 or 2015-16 can contest for the next year’s award. Persons who did theses meeting this criterion and are interested in contesting for this award should submit the major findings of their study to KJP as a Research Report, prepared in accordance with our submission guidelines, through www.kjponline.com before 30th April 2017. The author should enter the year of submission of the thesis and other relevant details about it in the “Comments for the editor” box that will be available in step 1 of the online submission process.

The award will consist of two mementos (one for the department) and a certificate. The winner will be decided by a Judging Committee appointed by the Editor of KJP in consultation with the Executive Committee of IPS Kerala. The Committee will judge the original submissions, and not the versions rewritten after peer review. The Committee can request the contestants to submit original data collection sheets, SPSS files, etc. if it feels so. Decision of the Committee shall be final.

UPDATE ON 22nd JANUARY 2017: As per the decision taken today by Executive Committee of Kerala IPS, the award will be given only if there are at least three contestants.
